Do: Positive Behaviors

We encourage all users to:

• Use the report button if you witness violations
• Respect others' boundaries and preferences
• Keep personal information private—both yours and others'
• Take breaks when needed; don't feel obligated to continue uncomfortable chats

Don't: Prohibited Behaviors

The following actions violate our terms and may result in account suspension or ban:

• Harassment and bullying: Targeting individuals with insults, threats, or demeaning remarks based on identity, appearance, or beliefs.
• Inappropriate content: Sharing sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or other adult content.
• Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else or misrepresenting your identity.
• Recording without consent: Capturing screenshots, recordings, or streams of conversations without all participants' permission.
• Spam and promotion: Advertising products, services, websites, or social media accounts.
• Illegal activities: Discussing or promoting illegal acts, including drugs, theft, or harm to others.
• Personal information sharing: Doxxing—sharing someone's private details like address, phone number, or workplace.
• Scams and fraud: Attempting to trick users into giving money, personal data, or account access.

Enforcement

We take violations seriously. Our moderation team reviews reports and may take actions including:

• Warning: First-time or minor violations receive a warning.
• Temporary suspension: Repeated or serious violations result in temporary account restriction.
• Permanent ban: Severe violations or repeated offenses lead to permanent removal from the platform.

We may also report illegal activities to appropriate authorities.

Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, you may appeal by contacting our support team at [email protected]. Provide your username and a clear explanation of why you think the action was mistaken. We'll review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Community Responsibility

Maintaining a positive community is a shared responsibility. If you see something that violates these guidelines, use the report feature. Don't engage with or encourage inappropriate behavior—simply disconnect and report.

Updates to Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use of RandChat after changes means you accept the updated terms. We'll notify users of significant changes.
